There are literally dozens of permits that go along with building a new home. We stay up- to- date on all city, county and state requirements to ensure that we are building your Iron Gate custom home within all legal parameters. You’ll never have to worry about requesting permits, as we take care of this process for you.

Windstorm/Hurricane Certification and Permitting

We are constantly evaluating new technologies to build superior custom homes. A major consideration – especially on the Texas Gulf Coast – is to build a home that will easily withstand hurricane- strength wind and rain. As an added benefit, we find these technologies can also result in much more energy efficient homes. Additionally, due to superior offerings in fire, termite and mold resistance, your insurance costs can be reduced as well.

Value engineering through design

Value engineering through design is a process that focuses on and improves upon the major elements of complex or high cost home building project. At Iron Gate we employ a multi-disciplined team of experts to develop recommendations aimed at improving the value of a project during its design phases.

The main objectives of a value engineering are to minimize total costs (construction + life cycle), to reduce construction time, to make the project easier to construct, and to ensure safe operations and environmental/ecological goals.

Job Cost Detailing

Unlike other builders, we offer you a detailed list of all the costs associated with building your Iron Gate custom home. This list is not limited to just the cost of the home. It shows our clients a comprehensive inventory of materials, selections and labor.

Financing

Iron Gate is proud to associate itself with many reputable mortgage companies that help our clients find the loan that is correct for their needs. Although we suggest our clients use our preferred lenders, it is not a requirement.
